Over 300 entries and counting are registered and ready to rumble in this year's first edition World Slasher Cup (WSC) to be held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum from January 29 to February 7.
Hosted by the Pintakasi of Champions and supported by B-Meg, Thunderbird, Petron, and Excellence Poultry and Livestock Specialists, WSC is the most prestigious international derby known to aficionados as the Olympics of Cockfighting.
Top local breeders and their foreign counterparts will be introduced to the public in the upcoming press conference at the deluxe businessman’s hotel, Novotel Manila-Araneta Center.
For participants, this year’s World Slasher Cup 9-cock invitational derby begins with the 2-cock eiminations from January 29-31. Qualifiers will then move on to the 3-cock semifinals on February 1-3.
