4 p.m. – San Beda vs CSB-LSGH (Juniors)
6 p.m. – AU vs CSB (Seniors)

Arellano tries to finish off College of St. Benilde and win its second title in three years tonight in Game 2 of their best-of-three NCAA men's football finals series at the Rizal Memorial Stadium.

Twenty-year-old Jumbel Guinabang is expected to be a marked man in the 6 p.m. match after scoring two goals in the Chiefs’ 3-2 extra time victory in Friday’s opener.

St. Benilde hopes to bounce back from that stinging defeat and force a deciding third game on Wednesday at the same venue.

While CSB’s Daniel Lozio and Renz Tulayba alternated goals with AU’s Charles Gamutan before the match went into halftime with the score tied at 2-2, it was energetic Guinabang who had the last laugh as he powered in the decisive goals three minutes before the end of extra time.

Arellano coach Ravelo Saluria thinks they would need the same kind of effort to pull off another victory.

“We hope to show the same kind of intensity in the next game, maybe more, for us to get this title,” said Saluria in Filipino.

In junior’s play, San Beda shoots for the clincher against CSB-La Salle Greenhills at 4 p.m.

The Red Cubs downed the Greenies, 2-1, in Game 1.

Meanwhile, Mapua and Lyceum try to enter the win column today in their women’s volleyball match at The Arena in San Juan City.

Their match is set at 11 a.m. as both teams seek to secure their first victory after absorbing back-to-back losses to open their respective campaigns.

Lyceum is eager to redeem itself after blowing a two-set lead in Thursday’s loss to St. Benilde.
