Say goodbye to TIN card lines: How to get your digital version now

The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) has introduced the Digital TIN ID, an online tool that simplifies and secures the process of obtaining a Tax Identification Number (TIN) ID, replacing the need for a physical card.

Taxpayers can now easily acquire their TIN ID through the BIR's Online Registration and Update System (ORUS).

According to the BIR, the process is straightforward, requiring just a few simple steps.

One of the key benefits of the Digital TIN ID is its accessibility. Taxpayers can access their ID anytime, anywhere, through their ORUS account, eliminating the need to carry a physical card and reducing the risk of loss or damage.

Additionally, the Digital TIN ID offers enhanced security. As a digital document, it is less susceptible to fraud and counterfeiting, providing added protection for taxpayers.
