When it comes to dependable closet pieces, it’s hard not to think of denim. Thanks to its durable materials, denim can truly stand the test of time. Even when worn out, it maintains a chic, rugged charm. However, because denim is so universally present in wardrobes, it can feel a bit too common. That’s why many brands are introducing customization options in their stores, allowing shoppers to add a unique touch to their denim garments. Leading this movement is Levi’s.
With the reopening of its first shop-in-shop location in the Philippines at SM Makati, Levi’s is going all out with its customization offerings. The redesigned store within the SM Store showcases the brand’s Next-Gen concept, complete with advanced digital features and eye-catching displays. In addition to patches, embroidery services, and other creative embellishments, its Tailor Shop now features an in-store artist who can bring denim lovers' customization dreams to life. According to the brand, this artist feature is exclusive to select Levi’s stores in premium SM Supermalls.
As the busiest Levi’s location in the Makati and BGC areas, Levi’s SM Makati has been strategically upgraded to match the standards of other recently revamped Levi’s boutiques. The 100-square-meter store integrates cutting-edge design elements that reflect the brand’s heritage and style, with a strong emphasis on enhancing the customer experience.
Levi’s in SM aims to continue transforming more branches into dynamic spaces that foster creativity and personalization, offering a seamless shopping journey. Jeffrey Lo, Senior Vice President and Business Unit Head of Signature Lines, Inc. (SLI), operator of Levi’s stores in SM properties, says, “SLI wants to continually upgrade Levi’s stores across SM channels to deliver better and more exciting experiences for our customers through the Next-Gen concept.” He also emphasized the company’s commitment to expanding this format to other strategic SM locations in the future.
