Who waits for what tech wonders will be offered in 2024? Well, count among the lot a relatively small player in the meetings, incentives, conventions and exhibitions (MICE) sector the Abrie Events and VIP Services.

"Technology, and its many wonders, will definitely help us to reach greater heights in our business in 2024," said Abrie Events Co-owner Abi Padiernos, sole properietor of Abrie Events. "We're already excited of joining the age of Artificial intelligence."

Started in October 2018, the full service production company provides all clients’ needs, from full coordination and production (lights and sounds, stage design, technical team to styling, and concept planning) to hosting company events and occasions, as well as road management and VIP services.

And technology plays a crucial role in its continued success in the business, compensating for its small team with tech savvy employees, including Padiernos herself.

“I strongly believe that Filipinos are naturally sociable and hospitable people that’s why our strategy is to ride the current trends in social media. In this age of AI, we intend to offer our services worldwide through the internet and other channels involving online media."

Recently, Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. delivered his message to the Fintech conference in Singapore via hologram, and pitched the fasttracking of digitalization in all major sectors of the society.

Abrie Events is on it, too, taking on tech savvy people to create a compact and innovation-driven team.

The company is among the few medium business/entrepreneurs who survived the 2019 pandemic, bouncing back by doing corporate events online, and in 2020 Abrie Events entered the concert scene in the country, and earned its stripes by mounting the biggest local music affair the Aurora Music Festival in Clark and Hot Air Balloon Display on June 12, 2021 that was attended by at least 100,000 people for two days.

"We are now seriously targetting the concert scene starring both local and international artists, and we hope technology has a lot more to offer in 2024, we will gor for it."

Padiernos revealed that aside from the bid to become an international events player, Abri Events also plans to hold big online gaming events by next year.

“We want to continue to grow as an events agency, with more regular clients and regular employees on our way to becoming a major enterprise. That’s what I want to achieve , and soon with the help of technology,” Padiernos added.
