Josie Natori responds to that undergarment request scene in ‘Inventing Anna’

In episode three of the series, Anna Delvey demanded some luxury undies

There is no denying that “Inventing Anna” is one of the most loved series today not just for its plot’s scandals and schemes but also for its costumes. Con artist Anna Delvey, Anna Sorokin in real life, may have fooled many of New York’s upper echelons, but her taste in fashion is definitely above standard. And among her iconic or infamous style scene is her undergarment request to fictional journalist Vivian Kent while she in the show is staying at Rikers Island. One of her brand preferences is the New York-based fashion label Natori.

Led by Filipino-American fashion designer Josie Natori, the label sells women’s lingerie and loungewear, primarily at upscale department stores. Through an Instagram post, the founder and CEO of The Natori Company responded to that particular scene from the Netflix show. After watching the clip, Josie packed some of her pieces and said, “Let’s send her these.” She even went all the way to the elevator, as if visiting Anna herself.

After being convicted in April 2019, Anna, a.k.a, the “Soho Grifter” was released from jail on Feb. 11, 2021 for good behavior. She earned $320,000 from Netflix, which she used to pay back her almost “$200,000 in restitution to various banks,” according to Insider.
