Ms. India may have won the crown but it is Marian Rivera who reigned supreme on Twitter

There are a lot of things Filipinos should be proud of at this year’s Miss Universe pageant—from Beatrice Luigi Gomez’s Top 5 finish and Kennedy Jhon Gasper getting a nod for his costume creation for Miss Nigeria to the Philippines having the longest ongoing streak of semi-final placements. But topping it all off, at least in the Twitter world, is actress Marian Rivera as part of this year’s selection committee.
