2 dead, 4 missing in Bicol floods

At least two people were confirmed dead, four were missing, while more than 9,000 others were affected by the tail-end of a frontal system (TEFS) that has brought moderate to heavy rainfall in parts of Luzon and Visayas, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) reported Sunday.

Heavy rains brought about by Tropical Storm “Pepito” submerged 20 barangays in Masantol and Macabebe towns in Pampanga, while floods were also noted on Maharlika Highway in Lopez, Quezon, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) said Wednesday.
