Classes in the following areas were ordered suspended on Friday, November 8, in commemoration of the 6th anniversary of Super Typhoon Yolanda.
- Tacloban City : all levels, public and private schools
- Tanauan, Leyte (suspension effective at 10 am) all levels, public and private schools
