The Korean medical comedy series “The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call” has toppled “Squid Game” season 2 from the top spot to become the most watched non-English series on Netflix this week.
Netflix released the rankings for its weekly Global Top 10 list from Jan. 27 to Feb. 2 of the most watched shows and films on the streaming platform.
“The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call” ended the reign of “Squid Game” season 2, which became the No. 1 non-English show on Netflix for five consecutive weeks since its premiere on Dec. 26.
The new series, released on Jan. 24, debuted at No. 3 on the non-English TV show list last week with 4.7 million views. It stars Ju Ji-hoon, Yoon Kyung-ho, Choo Young-woo, Ha Young and Jung Jae-kwang.

In its second week in the top 10, “The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call” garnered 11.9 million views from Jan. 27 to Feb. 2 to claim the No. 1 spot on the non-English TV list.
It is the No. 1 show in 17 countries and territories this week and landed in the top 10 in 63.
“Squid Game” season 2 fell to second place with 5.2 million views. For the first time since its debut, the series did not land in the No. 1 spot in any country but remained in the top 10 in 77.
