8 hurt in campsite treehouse collapse

PAGSANJAN, Laguna – Police said eight teenage individuals were injured after a treehouse collapsed in Barangay Lambac in this town on Friday morning, July 5.

The victims were identified as Ashley Nicole Soriano, 17; Mary Rose Guevarra, 17; Lyra Magahis, 12; Dovely Montelora, 14; Romarie Bacani, 14; Anthony Rodriguez, 15; Allan Bosito, 18, and Aldrich Navarro, 15.

Police said the victims occupied the treehouse but minutes later, it collapsed and they sprawled on the ground.

They sustained injuries and were taken to the Laguna Medical Center in Santa Cruz, Laguna.
