Man wanted for rape in Ilocos Norte nabbed

CAMP FLORENDO, La Union – Police arrested a 53-year-old man wanted for rape in Sitio Dimamaga, Barangay Tamdagan, Vintar, Ilocos Norte on Friday, May 17.
Caloy, tagged as the fourth most wanted person in Region 1 (Ilocos), was apprehended on a warrant issued by Judge Bonhoefer Vergara Bernandez, Presiding Judge, Family Court, First Judicial Region, Branch 4, Laoag City, Ilocos Norte.
He faces charges of sexual assault with bail set at P200,000.
Caloy also faces statutory rape, qualified rape, and rape cases with no bail recommended.
The suspect has been taken to the Vintar Police Station for documentation.
He had been marked as apprehended in the Philippine National Police (PNP) Enhanced e-Warrant and National Police Clearance System.
