The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has released an updated list of permitted brands and models of non-programmable calculators for use in licensure examinations.
Calculator plays a crucial role by facilitating complex computation, making it an essential tool in licensure examination across various fields such as engineering, accountancy, architecture, nursing, and more.
Here are the models and brands of non-programmable calculators allowed by PRC, as posted on its social media account:
The commission said, "only one non-programmable calculator per examinee shall be allowed inside the examination room,"
"All calculators shall be thoroughly inspected by the examination personnel every examination day," PRC said.
"Borrowing, lending and substitution/replacement of calculators while the examination is in progress shall not be allowed," it added.
