PRC extends acceptance of continuing dev't credit units to address professionals' concerns


In response to concerns raised by various professionals regarding the challenges in "required" Continuing Professional Development (CPD) credit units, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has decided to extend the deadline for credit unit submissions.

In a social media post on Feb. 13, the PRC informed the public that " the acceptance of CPD undertaking for the renewal of the Professional Identification Card (PIC) is extended until December 31, 2024."

"Concerned professionals with previous renewal transactions but with withheld PIC issuance are advised to proceed to their original place of appointment for the execution of the required CPD Undertaking Form and release of their respective PICs," PRC said.

Additionally, the PRC provided the CPD Division email, [email protected], for the public's inquiries and concerns.
