CAAP probes crash-landing of Cessna plane in Bulacan

The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) is now conducting investigation into the report that a Cessna plane crash-landed in Malolos, Bulacan.

The incident, according to CAAP spokesperson Eric Apolonio, occurred at 2:15 p.m. on Feb. 10 on a rice field in Malolos town with the no pilot and a student pilot declared as safe.

"We already sent investigators to determine the cause of this," said Apolonio.

Citing reports from the ground, Apolonio said the the Cessna plane was on a touch-go training flight with a route from Plaridel to Subic and back to Plaridel. 

But along the way, It performed an emergency landing procedure due to an engine failure southwest of the North Luzon Expressway.
