16 hurt in 3-vehicle collision in Laguna

CALAUAN, Laguna – Sixteen individuals were injured in a three-vehicle collision in Barangay Dayap here on Monday night, Dec. 16.

Police identified the injured as Mary, 39; Brylle, 17; Brienne, 12; Jan, 10; Joan, 40, and Johann, 10, onboard Toyota Innova with license plates DAT-8332 driven by John Carlo V. Bernardo, 40;

Marcela, 52; Pauline, 16; Maika, 22; Carla, 25; Dan, 25; Joan, 40, and Elmer, passengers of a passenger jeepney with license plates DAT-8332 driven by Nestor A. Valenzuela, and an unidentified motorcycle driver.

SIXTEEN individuals were injured in a three-vehicle collision in Barangay Dayap, Calauan, Laguna on Dec. 16.

Investigation said the jeepney suddenly swerved into the opposite lane and collided with the motorcycle and the driver landed on pavement.

The jeepney veered to the right, overturned, and collided with the Innova.

Drivers and passengers sustained injuries and were taken to the hospital.

Police are conducting follow-up investigation and identifying the motorcycle driver.
