Farmer resting in nipa hut gunned down

DOLORES, Quezon â€“ A 46-year-old farmer was shot dead in Sitio Buntog, Barangay San Mateo, this town, on Tuesday morning, Nov. 19.

Police identified the victim as Ronaldo D. Osuna.

Investigation said the suspect was resting inside his nipa hut when the suspect, Jeffrey, of San Pablo City, Laguna appeared and shot him.

The victim died on the spot and the suspect fled towards the forested area in Barangay San Mateo.

Police are conducting follow-up investigation.
