DPWH: Partial closure of España Boulevard scheduled from Oct. 18-21

The westbound portion of España Boulevard in Manila will be partially closed from Oct. 18 to 21 as the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) for concrete pavement restoration.

In an advisory, the DPWH said motorists should anticipate traffic slowdowns in the affected area due to the closure of the outermost lane for restoration work of the PLDT Fiberhome that covers an area of 4.5 by 4.6 meters.

The affected lanes are set to reopen promptly at 5 a.m. on Oct. 21, following the completion of activities aimed at enhancing road safety and improving pavement quality along this vital thoroughfare.

To ensure a smoother driving experience for commuters, PLDT Fiberhome Philippines Inc. will utilize an asphalt overlay during the restoration process.

As work progresses, the DPWH assures the public that measures will be implemented to minimize disruptions and facilitate traffic flow.

Motorists are encouraged to seek alternative routes during this period and to exercise caution when passing through the affected area.
