2 pseudo cops nabbed in Laguna


BIÑAN CITY, Laguna – Two men were robbed by six persons who introduced themselves as Philippine National Police-Drug Enforcement Group officers in a motel in this city before dawn on Tuesday, September 12.

Police arrested two suspects in a follow-up operation – Arvin Ryan Alora, alias “Balong,” and Art Berroya. 

The suspects barged into the rented rooms of the victims, Moises Legacion and Kenneth Oliver, and seized their jewelry, cash, and gadgets. 

The victims were taken to the suspects’ getaway vehicle and dropped off in Barangay Platero here.

The victims reported the incident to the police who intercepted the suspects' vehicle on Manabat St., San Antonio Proper here.

Two suspects were nabbed and their companions, two men and two women, and are now being hunted by lawmen.

Seized from the two suspects were two calibers .38 revolvers loaded with bullets, three plastic sachets of suspected shabu, and the victims’ personal belongings amounting to P10,000.
