Police net P3.4-M worth of shabu in QC

Quezon City Police District (QCPD) personnel seized P3,400,000 worth of suspected shabu and arrested a man in Barangay Talipapa in Quezon City on Saturday afternoon, July 1.  Lt. Col. Mark Janis Ballesteros, QCPD Talipapa Station (PS 3) commnader, identified the suspect as Ariel Dagsindal, 49, a resident of Brgy. Quinale, Paete, Laguna. Investigation disclosed that a security guard of a fast food chain along Quirino Highway, Barangay Talipa, sought help from the PS 3 after he noticed a man who was roaming inside the establishment and acting suspiciously. Responding personnel went to the area to verify the report. (Photo from QCPD Public Information Office/ MANILA BULLETIN) PS 3 operatives approached Dagsindal and inspected his belongings that led to the confiscation of P3,400,000 worth of alleged shabu placed inside a plastic bag wrapped with plastic tape.  Also seized from he suspect were a black sling bag, and two cellphones. The arrested suspect will be charged for violation of R.A. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 before the Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office, QCPD said.
