Sunshine Place slots are now open for Introduction to Ikebana Workshop Batch 4.
Workshop Batch 4 will be conducted every Saturday starting April 15. The workshop consists of Part 1 for Beginners, which is scheduled from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., and Part 3 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon.
Participants to the Beginners Part 1 workshop will learn the basics of Japanese art of flower arrangement—upright Moribana style, basic slanting, and Variation # 4 with movements, basic Nageire Style, and combination of Moribana and Nageire Arrangements.

On the other hand, the Workshop Part 3 is a follow-up to the Introduction to Ikebana Workshop Beginners Part 1. It will be a demonstration/workshop covering a review of basic and other additional variations both for Moribana, Nageire, and selected topics on advance Ikebana lessons. This workshop is only open to students who have completed Beginners Part 1.
The lecture-demonstration will be conducted by Marc Tomas, former president of Ikebana International Manila Chapter 108. He is also a member of Sogetsu Potential Manila Chapter.
