The Supreme Court (SC) will release on Tuesday, Dec. 5, the list of successful examinees and the names of the topnotchers in the 2023 online Bar examinations.
It said it will install LED walls within its courtyard on Padre Faura St. in Ermita, Manila for viewing from 12 noon to 6 p.m.
It also said the list will be posted on its website – sc.judiciary.gov.ph – and on its official social media pages X, Facebook, and Instagram.
The oath taking and signing of the Roll of Attorneys of the successful examinees will be held on Dec. 22 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.
Fee for admission and certification is P5,190, stated the earlier announcement issued by Associate Justice Ramon Paul L. Hernando, chairperson of the 2023 Bar examinations committee.
A total of 10,387 out of 10,791 registered examinees took and completed the three-day 2023 Bar examinations administered by the SC last Sept. 17, 20, and 24 in 14 local testing centers nationwide.
The 2023 Bar examinations marked the first time that successful examinees will be admitted into the practice of their profession on the same year they took the examinations.
Results of the previous examinations were released during the first quarter of the following year after they took the tests.
Six core subjects were covered during the three-day 2023 examinations -- Political and Public International Law, 15 percent; Commercial and Taxation Laws, 20 percent; Labor Law and Social Legislation, 10 percent; Criminal Law, 10 percent; and Remedial Law, Legal and Judicial Ethics with Practical Exercises, 25 percent.
