A heady play from Sanford “Sanford” Vinuya in the opening game set the tone for the rout as ECHO put the M2 World Champions to its victim list, joining M3 titlists Blacklist International to go 2-0 in the opening week of the tournament.

Bren Esports looked like it already managed to turn the tables in the series opener after taking down four heroes of ECHO in the crucial 19-minute Lord dance. Sanford, however, had other plans in mind as during the team fight, he went for a backdoor push on his Benedetta down the bottom lane.

Benedict “BennyQT” Gonzales then managed to buy some time and delay the recalls of Bren player as Sanford took down the base for a 17-13 Game 1 win.

Not leaving anything to chance, ECHO stepped its foot on the gas pedal in the second game as this time, it ensured that there would be no chance of a potential comeback, after dominating Bren in every teamfight.

The Orcas just simply had their ways and went full throttle in the final siege to complete a 21-11 domination that sealed the deal for the last season runners-up.

Karl “Karltzy” Nepomuceno was steady in the two-game sweep finishing with a 4-2-6 line on the Fredrinn in Game 1 before showing that he can still utlize assassin jungler picks with a 4-2-7 KDA on the Ling.

M4 MVP BennyQT also shone with a 6-5-3 tally on the Lunox in the first game and a 5-1-8 KDA on the Harith in Game 2.
