PRC sets in-person oathtaking date for new civil engineers


The in-person oathtaking ceremony for new Civil Engineers will be on Dec. 22 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. to be held at the Plenary Hall of the Philippine International Convention Center, Pasay City.

This was announced by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Wednesday, Dec. 7.

The first session will be from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. for board passers whose surname starts with A-D.

Meanwhile, the second session is from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. for surnames that start with E-M and the last session will be from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. for surnames that start with N-Z.

"All successful examinees who are interested to attend the face-to-face mass oathtaking shall register not later than 12:00 NN of the day prior to the date of the oathtaking at http://online.prc.gov.ph to confirm their attendance," PRC said.

The inductees were also advised to bring either a Covid-19 vaccination card or negative RT-PCR results taken within 48 hours before the ceremony.

"It is advised that inductees register and confirm their attendance in the regions where they took their licensure examination and intend to register as professionals. Those who will not be able to attend the scheduled face-to-face mass oathtaking may attend the online oathtaking or request for a special oathtaking.

"After the oathtaking, inductees shall proceed with their Initial Registration by securing an online appointment at http://online.prc.gov.ph, starting January 30-31, February 1-3, February 6-10, and February 13-15, 2023," PRC added.
