Bacolod gov’t workers to get minimum of P47,000 in bonuses this December

BACOLOD CITY -- Government workers here are expected to receive bonuses amounting to a minimum of P47,517 to a maximum of P148,891 before the year ends.

After recovering from Covid-19 infection, regular, co-terminus, plantilla casual employees as well as retirees within the calendar year stand to receive a maximum of P25,000 Collective Negotiation Agreement (CNA) incentive from the city government.

The good news was announced by no less than Mayor Alfredo Abelardo ‘Albee’ Benitez.

The CNA, granted by virtue of Budget Circular No. 2022-3, is to be given not earlier than Dec. 15 this year.

Aside from the said incentives, qualified employees will also be receiving their Productivity Incentive Allowance (PEI) amounting to P5,000.

These bonuses are on top of the year-end bonus equivalent to the employee’s one month salary and cash gift amounting to P5,000, which is currently being distributed.
