According to the police report, the incident occurred at the basement of the Activa Building on Montreal St. at 4:10 p.m.

Police said the four workers went up to the scaffolding to put a skim coat on the basement ceiling.

Due to the heavy weight of the four workers, the scaffolding clamps loosened, causing its frame to collapse.

The victims suffered bone fractures in their legs and arms.
