In an advisory, DLSU said it will suspend classes at all levels, including graduate school and the College of Law, noting that close to 60 percent of its community members "are currently sick."

The University also suspended work, including work from home, on all campuses for the same period.

"We will conduct another health survey on January 13 to inform our decision on the resumption of classes. There shall be adjustments in the academic calendar which will be announced later," it added.

"Let us pray for the quick recovery of those who are ill, and may we continue to remain vigilant and follow the IATF guidelines on safe distancing, hygiene, and sanitation protocols."

Meanwhile, classes in Benilde Manila, Benilde Antipolo, Benilde Deaf School, and Senior High School are also suspended from Jan. 10 to 15.

Likewise, synchronous and asynchronous activities are suspended during the said dates. Other academic requirements are also deferred.

"As one Benildean Community, let us keep praying for everyone's safety and quick recovery. We encourage everyone to be vigilant and to follow the IATF protocols," CSB President Br. Edmundo L. Fernandez FSC said.
