About 228 educators from the Ateneo School of Medicine and Public Health, Ateneo Graduate School of Business, Ateneo Law School, and Ateneo School of Government endorsed the candidacies of Robredo and Pangilinan.

In a statement, the educators said Robredo has been "consistent in her advocacies on human rights, good governance, and women empowerment" and has "never been subjected to cases of corruption or abuse of power."

They likewise noted that Robredo's character and track record are what "make her the best candidate for president."

"Even before she became a public official, Leni Robredo has shown her commitment for serving the poor. Her work in her various capacities as an alternative lawyer and a public defense lawyer deepened her conviction to work for the marginalized of our society," the educators said.

"As we come out and publicly declare our support for the Vice President, we urge our students and alumni, co-educators, professionals in the field of business, law, medicine, public health, and public service to take action," they added.
