PCUP’s capability building program benefits indigents in Mandaluyong

Members of urban poor organizations in Mandaluyong City have benefited from the Presidential Commission for the Urban Poor’s (PCUP) Capability Building Program (CBP).

PCUP’s initiative taught at least 30 indigents to create a detergent powder. The program was held on Feb. 3.

“Layunin ng programa na mas mapalawak pa ang oportunidad ng mga maralitang tagalunsod sa aspeto ng paghahanapuhay tungo sa kanilang pag-unlad (The program aims to further expand the opportunities of the urban poor in terms of livelihood towards their success),” said PCUP Chairperson and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Alvin Feliciano in a press statement.

The program was supervised by PCUP-Field Operations Division for the National Capital Region (FOD-NCR).
