Five more party-list groups were included by the Commission on Elections (Comelec) in the official ballot.

In a Notice dated Jan. 7, the Comelec identified the said groups and their designated number as the following: (174) Ayuda sa may Kapansanan; (175) Abante Sambayanan (SAMBAYANAN); (176) Ako Breeder; (177) Friends of the Poor and Jobless (FPJ); and (178) Laban ng Isang Bayan para sa Reporma at Oportunidad (LIBRO).

The said groups were included after they were able to secure Temporary Restraining Orders (TROs) from the Supreme Court (SC).

It was Dec. 14, 2021 when the poll body conducted the raffle to determine the order of listing of partylist groups in the official ballot.

Only 166 party-list were included in the raffle that time.

However, on Dec. 29, the poll body issued a Notice including seven party-lists in the list of candidates after they were also able to secure TRO from the SC.

This means there are now 178 party-list groups in the May 2022 polls.
