Maynilad issues schedule of water interruptions in Las Piñas

Some parts of Las Piñas City will experience water interruptions for three days from Oct. 29 to Nov.1 due to a flood control project that will be carried out by the Department of Public Works and Highways in Manila.

Maynilad said its seven-foot-diameter water pipeline along Sobriedad corner Cristobal Street in Manila will be realigned starting Oct. 29.

Maynilad customers in Las Piñas will have no water supply within a certain number of hours on said dates.

Las Piñas areas that will have no water supply from Oct. 29 at 11.a.m to Oct. 30 to 10:00 p.m. are Almanza Uno (Gonzalez Compound 1 and 2), CAA Manuyo Dos (Martinville, Tionquiao, Woodsrow 3 Canaynay Road), Pamplona Uno to Tres; and Pulanglupa Uno and Dos.

Other areas to be affected on Oct. 30 at 12 noon to Oct. 31 at 10:00 p.m. are Daniel Fajardo, E. Aldana, Ilaya, Manuyo Dos, Bangias St., Gatchalian Subdivision, Canaynay Court, Dona Matilde, Green Valley, and Verville Regency.

The Las Piñas City government advised the Maynilad consumers to start saving water before the scheduled water interruptions.

Maynilad in coordination with the city government and the Bureau of Fire Protection will deploy additional mobile tankers and stationary water tanks in the affected areas.
