Jake Zyrus rants about netizens missing Charice Pempengco

Jake Zyrus recently took to social media to express frustration over people who keep bringing up his past as Charice Pempengco.

On Instagram he wrote: “I DON’T CARE IF YOU WANT TO LISTEN TO MY CHARICE SONGS ALL DAMN DAY OR IF YOU HEAR MY CHARICE VOICE IN MY FALSETTOS, BECAUSE OF COURSE YOU D****SS MF, BOSES KO PARIN YON. NAG-TRANSITION LANG (THAT'S STILL MY VOICE. IT JUST TRANSITIONED)."

He used to take it as a "compliment" but he has had enough.

He finds it offensive when people kept on repeating that "CHARICE IS COMING BACK."

"GET YO MF TRANSPHOBIA ASS AWAY FROM ME."

He noted how respect begets respect.

“I WILL ALWAYS HAVE MY UTMOST RESPECT SA MGA TAONG NIRERESPETO ANG NAKARAAN AT ANG KASALUKUYAN KO. HINDI YUNG RESPESTO SA NAKARAAN, BASTUSIN ANG KASALUKUYAN (I WILL ALWAYS HAVE MY UTMOST RESPECT TO PEOPLE WHO RESPECT MY PAST AND PRESENT. AND NOT SOMEONE WHO CAN'T RESPECT MY PREVIOUS LIFE AND INSULT MY PRESENT)."

He may just be creating noise after dropping his new single "Fix Me."

We could be wrong, though.

In respect to his past and present, we are publishing his full statement here:
