The CSC, through the Civil Service Institute (CSI), will launch the Kwentong Lingkod Bayani, a monthly forum on values program showcasing the exemplary performance of government civil servants demonstrating the public service values of Patriotism, Integrity, Excellence, and Spirituality (PIES).

"The course, to be delivered via Zoom webinar, is free of charge and can accommodate 500 participants on a first-come, first-served basis. The first run will be on Jan. 8," the Commission said in a statement Friday.

Also being offered by CSC is Public Service Values in Times of Adversities, a workshop that aims to enable participants to strengthen and harness PIES, especially in this time of pandemic for the enhancement of their organization’s capability in pursuing strategic leadership and management.

It will also be offered monthly, with the first run of the year to be held from Jan. 12 to 28.

The Performance Management for PRIME-HRM Level 2, set from March 9 to 30, will provide human resources (HR) practitioners tools and handles to enable them to review their performance management (PM) policies and process toward making these more responsive to the agency needs. They will also be able to develop their customized PM System.

Recruitment, Selection, and Placement for PRIME-HRM Level 2, which will run from March 15 to 29, shall enable HR practitioners and Human Resource Merit and Promotion Selection Board (HRMPSB) members to review and make more responsive their recruitment, selection, and placement (RSP) policies and processes. They will also be able to develop their customized RSP System.

On the other hand, PRIME-HRM, or the Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management, is a program of the CSC that aims to elevate government agencies’ HRM systems, practices, and competencies to a level of excellence through its three major strategies – assessment, assistance, and awarding.
