Help on the way to John Regala

A friend in need is a friend indeed---even in show business.

John Regala’s colleagues namely Nadia Montenegro, Chuckie Dreyfus and Aster Amoyo have joined forces to help the former actor during this trying time in his life. The group has created a "Gava Gives Assistance Account" for John and await "approval' so that anyone who wants to help can send it through there.

John suffers from liver cirrhosis and hasn’t had dialysis for months now due to lack of funds.

"I talked to him this morning but can’t hardly understands his words. I will be seeing him later together with a doctor friend that will take all tests brother John needs urgently," Nadia shared on her Instagram account on July 29.

Nadia said John needs wheelchair, daily food and medical assistance, and dialysis.

Those who want to send donations and help right away could message Nadia directly, she said.

"God bless you all! Thank you! We love you Brother John! #HelpJohnRegala."
