Clark Freeport issues guidelines on enhanced community quarantine

CLARK FREEPORT, Pampanga – The management of Clark Freeport Zone has ordered compliance with the guidelines set forth in the government’s enhanced community quarantine order, starting at 12 midnight Wednesday, March 18.
As such, the Clark Freeport Zone has issued its own set of guidelines that must be observed by all persons within its boundaries.
All groceries, duty free stores are open but must observe proper social distancing at all times. Only shuttle services of locators for duty free stores will be allowed in the Freeport zone.
Banks, hospitals, drug stores, bayad/remittance centers, ground maintenance, gas stations, waste management/ garbage collection and Clark Development Corporation (CDC) offices will remain operating.
Hotels will remain open but will not accept new bookings. Restaurants will not also cater to dine-in customers for the mean time.
The operation of Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) companies will also continue. Housing for employees of Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGOs) will also be kept open.
Mass gatherings have been strictly prohibited, as well as the operation of public utility jeepneys (PUJs) in the Freeport zone. Classes in all levels and all public or private construction have been temporarily suspended.
Clark Airport will also be closed starting 12 midnight of March 20. Only special military flights and cargo flights will be allowed. Guidelines from Department of Transportation will be also implemented.
