A father's parenting blog
Fatherblogger dot com is a site that deals with parenting and family tips, from the viewpoint of a man. Behind this is Angel Cuala whose life is colorful enough to fill up a blog. He's proud to say that he's a self-made street child who started working at the tender age of ten and then continuing to work, until he finished an electronics engineering course. He's also a product of a broken family who now has a happy family of his own.
He started to blog in the middle of 2007, as a fulfillment of a childhood dream.
"It was my father who unintentionally influenced me to love writing since childhood. He was a frustrated writer and a poet himself. That time however, I analyzed that being a professional writer will find it very difficult to earn a decent income to survive a family. But now, I think the chances are a bit higher since the audience online is wider."

What advice can you give others, especially newbies, on getting started in blogging and maintaining one's blog?
First of all, one should not blog because he overheard that he can make money. If one wants to make serious money from blogging, he should think of it as a business venture instead of just sharing ideas and valuable information.
Therefore, one must know the main reason why he wants to blog, and should have a specific goal. Then, create a concrete plan on how to achieve that goal and focus on it.
But then, I think the best blogging tip so far is to be useful to his readers. Think of a topic that you feel you will not run out of great ideas.
Furthermore, a blog will not grow alone if there are no visitors, no matter how useful the contents are.
Bloggers should learn how to increase their network. They should not only focus on writing, and attracting visitors and regular readers.
They should also be able to convince others to promote his blog. This can be achieved by choosing the right online friends, and helping them as well.
Last but definitely not the least; be a wise spender. Don’t spend money for the things you are not sure that you can fully utilize them. Avoid joining sites that are inviting you to invest big amount of money, while promising that you will enjoy a high profit in a very short period of time. Remember, there is no such thing as easy money.
The blogging rules and principles you live by.
I have always been saying this, that bloggers should not abuse their freedom of expression. This is also why I don’t suggest using blogging as a form of expressing complaints.
If they have issues about anything around them, they should not use blogging to provoke anyone to do something that they will regret later on.
Bloggers should only post original ideas and not be a copycat. Although it may be for their advantage instantly, it will only be temporary.
Time will come that the originator will discover it, and this is the end of their blogging career.
