Teen drowns in pool on Maundy Thursday in Batangas

LEMERY, Batangas â€“ A teenage male drowned while swimming in a pool on Maundy Thursday in Barangay Nonong Casto here. Police said the victim and his teenage cousin were swimming at Suenia Beach Resort when he suddenly went underwater. After a minute, the unconscious victim was lifted by his cousin and taken to the Batangas Provincial Hospital where he was declared dead by attending physician Dr. Charo Balesteros.
