A radio-frequency identification (RFID) sticker caravan will be held at the Kartilya ng Katipunan near Manila City Hall in Ermita, Manila on Saturday (October 31) and Sunday (November 1).
The drive-thru RFID installation will be accommodating class 1 vehicles, or cars, sports utility vehicles, and passenger vans, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Motorists who will be availing of the RFID stickers must only bring P200 for the initial load.
The project was done through a partnership between the Manila city government and Department of Transportation.
In a Facebook post on Thursday, Manila Mayor Francisco "Isko Moreno" Domagoso said they support making all transactions at expressways cashless and contactless as a precaution amid the coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.
