Home improvement firm Wilcon Depot Inc. is boosting its capital expenditure budget to P3.9 billion this year from the P2.16 billion spend in 2021 to support its continued store expansion program.

Wilcon Depot, Inc., the Philippines’ leading home improvement and finishing construction supplies retailer, reported a 40.7 percent hike in net income to P851 million in the first quarter of 2021 from the P604 million earned in the same period last year.

Home improvement chain Wilcon Depot, Inc. reported that its net income leapt 77 percent to P2.56 billion in 2021, driven mainly by the increase in net sales and the expansion of gross profit margin. 


Wilcon Depot, Inc. reported a 111.1 percent surge in net income to P1.87 billion in the first nine months of 2021 from the P885.57 million earned in the same period last year.

Wilcon Depot, Inc. (Wilcon) is allotting capital expenditures of P3.2 billion this year mainly to support its expansion program as it targets to have 100 stores by 2025.
