GMA Artist Center started 2022 with a fresh and energized new name – Sparkle.

Less than a week after being introduced as GMA Artist Center’s new consultant, Johnny Manahan, better known as the starmaker Mr M., has already begun one of his main tasks, that is to help the agency discover promising new talents.

For several decades already, Mr. M. has been widely regarded as the man behind the success of some of the biggest names in the local entertainment industry. Apart from being a star builder, he also directed classic films and television series that are still remembered up to this day.

Johnny Manahan or Mr. M, is known for creating huge stars out of many ABS-CBN talents though the years.

If the photo caption of broadcaster Korina Sanchez-Roxas on social media should be taken seriously, then former ABS-CBN’s Star Magic head Johnny Manahan has transferred to GMA-7.

Piolo Pascual took advantage of the recent Father’s Day celebration to push for his “dad” Johnny “Mr. M” Manahan’s inclusion as National Artist.

Talk has it that the former head of ABS-CBN’s talent arm, Star Magic, is now a certified Kapuso.

TV host Willie Revillame has expressed sincere desire to work again with Johnny ‘Mr. M’ Manahan after the former ABS-CBN star-maker signaled his willingness to work under GMA-7.
