Jennifer Hudson is just one many international celebrities who have noticed Filipino singer Lucas Garcia.

The American singer took a gander at Lucas' TikTok video where he is seen singing a few lines of Destiny's Child's "Emotion."

Of course, Lucas, could only be happy.

"To say that I am her fan, number 1 fan is an understatement. I worship the land she walks on! So imagine my shock when I saw this," he wrote on Instagram along with a screenshot of Jennifer's name on the list of those who watched the video.

"I legit teared up! Deeply honored! I am now more inspired to do better because I know that if there is one thing Jhud and I have in common it's our passion for our music! Thank you JHud!"

In an exclusive interview with Bulletin Entertainment, the “Idol Philippines” first-runner up talked about how foreign stars started noticing his talent.

According to him, the music media platform They Have The Range, started it all for him, uploading his version of the said track on their Instagram feed.

"I love hearing singers who have perfect pitch and can hit that note right in the center!!! @lucasnikkogrc is all that and more!! The clarity was amazing here!! The runs were clean! His control in his head voice was stellar!! Sing @lucasnikkogrc! #theyhavetherange," the site said.

Of course, Lucas was overwhelmed with so many international artists giving him positive feedback.

It has since opened so many doors for him, internationally.

Lucas is not eager to divulge these in detail saying negotiations are still ongoing.

But given the chance to start an international project, the Star Magic artist is willing to pursue it.

He thinks, getting raves from foreign artists is a "sign" that he needs to level up his career.

Currently, he's part of "ASAP Natin 'To" and "Your Face Sounds Familiar" with other co-"Idol Philippines" contestants Matty Juniosa and Enzo Almario.

Collectively known as iDolls, the trio, just also launched their YouTube channel.

Asked how he discovered his singing talent, Lucas shared it all started when an uncle made him join a singing contest when he was around four or five years old.

"Tas nagtuloy-tuloy na. Every other day sumasali na ako sa singing contest," he said.

Those experiences allowed him to build his confidence, inasmuch as he would always go home with a trophy.

Though, there was also a time when he stopped joining singing contests.

This was after his voice changed due to puberty.

But the singer from Lipa City, Batangas made sure to find his voice again.

So what inspired him to continue after that obstacle?

"Siguro 'pag gusto mo talaga 'yung ginagawa mo, hindi ka naman talaga titigil," he said. "Kapag mahal na mahal mo 'yung pagkanta."

He believes in the saying that "purpose fuels passion."

"'Pag alam mo purpose mo, kapag gusto mo 'yung ginagawa mo, magtatagal ka, magiging tagumpay ka!"

And that's the advice that Lucas wants to impart to those who want to follow in his footsteps.

"Kung mahal mo 'yung ginagawa mo ipagpatuloy mo at ibigay mo best mo," he related.

He also encouraged uprising stars to share their talents without asking for anything in return.

"Kasi hindi lahat nabibigyan ng pagkataon mabigyan ng ganyan... I-share mo 'yung talent mo kasi hindi natin alam kung hanggang kailan 'yung boses natin. So hangga't nasa atin, gamitin sa magandang paraan -- like itulong sa pamilya."
