The Department of Agriculture (DA-7) has equipped farmers in Negros Oriental with trainings on production and marketing for cacao, corn, cassava and hybrid rice to enhance their skills and knowledge on new farming technologies for sustainable income and livelihood from agriculture.
‘Some of our close friends asked if they could try it. We baked three tubs and they liked it. That’s when we decided to sell it online, pairing it with cold brew coffee.’
BUTUAN CITY – In its commitment to continue without let up its assistance to farmers in Caraga region in spite of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic, the regional office of the Department of Agriculture (DA) based here is targeting a production area of 2,766 hectares for cassava production in Caraga region.
