As the war unfolded last March, many fashion brands like Louis Vuitton, Versace, Isabel Marant, as well as major luxury goods conglomerates have shown their solidarity with Ukraine. Apart from donating to humanitarian organizations, some have also banned their products from being sold in Russia, one of which is Chanel. In response, Russian women are destroying products from the French fashion house and sharing them on social media.

The “Skin” collection signified the texture and treatment of fabric while “flesh” was the color of the debut collection and “raw” was the designer’s way of being straightforward with the theme of the collection.

Panasonic Manila Fashion Festival Day two started off with June Samson Pugat’s “Eos” collection, a limited collection for the brand’s less formal line, House of Helios. Taking inspiration from Greek mythology, the collection featured geometric-cut garments with undone-inspired details and origami elements using custom materials of dyed jusi, linen, and treated denim.
