70 PDLs from Northern Samar receive TESDA livelihood training
TACLOBAN CITY – At least 70 Persons Deprived of Liberty from the Northern Samar Provincial Jail in Barangay Dancalan, Bobon, Northern Samar, received livelihood training from the Technical Education Skills Development Authority (TESDA).

Sixty-three completed training in coconut water vinegar and kalamansi-juice making, 70 in basic wiring, and 46 in entrepreneurship.
Gov. Edwin Ongchuan commended officer-in-charge Provincial Jail Warden EnP Jay Keenson Acebuche for creating opportunities that improve the setting inside the provincial jail. He said that PDLs will benefit from the livelihood training as they reintegrate into society.
The PDL graduates were given care packages containing blankets and grocery items.
"If justice may have been elusive outside, I will make sure that transformative justice will be felt among all persons deprived of liberty,” Acebuche said.
