Zamboanga City farmers receive 48 power tillers

ZAMBOANGA CITY – Rep. Mannix Dalipe and Mayor John Dalipe turned over 48 power tillers to farmers here at the Zamboanga City Hall on Monday, March 3.

FARMERS in Zamboanga City receive power tillers from the city government.

The power tillers were purchased for P105,000 each for a total of P5,040,000.  

The power tillers were turned over to 48 farmers associations – 24 vegetable growers  and 24 corn farmers groups.

This is the third batch of farm equipment turned over to farmers in the past three weeks.

Two weeks ago, Mayor Dalipe and Rep. Dalipe  turned over six tractors.

The following week, 28 walk-behind transplanters and two combined harvesters were given.
