House Committee on Appropriations Chairman Ako-Bicol Party-list Rep. Zaldy Co has congratulated the Office of the President (OP) for recently bringing to justice "two of the most wanted personalities in our country", namely Alice Guo and Pastor Apollo Quiboloy.
Co did so during the 2025 budget hearing of the OP before the appropriations panel on Monday, Sept. 9.
“Congratulations to the Office of the President, the Philippine National Police, the military and all other civilian agencies that helped capture two of the most wanted personalities in our country. Thank you very much for your service,” he said in his speech.
Guo is a dismissed Bamban, Tarlac mayor who's being closely linked to illegal Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGOs).
Meanwhile, Quiboloy, founder and and leader of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC), is being hounded by charges of child abuse, sexual abuse, and qualified human trafficking.
The two fugitives fell in the hands of local authorities almost in succession over the weekend.

Co acknowledged OP's critical duty to coordinate and oversee the implementation of policies and programs under the Marcos administration. He stressed OP's unique position as the highest executive authority and its responsibility for the daily administration of government, execution of laws, and protection of national interests.
The discussion on the OP's proposed P10.5-billion for 2025 was terminated on Monday due to "parliamentary courtesy".
