The city government of Pasay City signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) and the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) for a staging area for city residents who will be the beneficiaries of the government's housing project.
Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano said the signing of the MOA was held last July 5 at the office of the DHSUD in Quezon City.
Rubiano said the MOA will give the beneficiaries of Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (4PH) in the city a staging area while waiting for the implementation of the project under Republic Act No. 11201.
She explained the 4PH is a flagship housing project of the DSUD which provides affordable homes and lower monthly amortization costs through various subsidies for Filipino workers who are members of the Pag-IBIG Fund.
“It is our honor and privilege to have this area as the staging ground for such an integral event in our city and country as a whole. This multi-agency collaboration ensures our public that we are working, and we are working for them, especially for the beneficiaries of the Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino (4PH) Program who are indeed in dire need of new homes,” Rubiano said.
