Lineman dies of electrocution in La Union

SAN FERNANDO CITY, La Union â€“ A 48-year-old lineman of the La Union Electric Co. died after he was electrocuted while repairing a transformer here on Wednesday, April 3.

Police identified the victim as Guillermo Laconsay from Barangay Ili Sur, San Juan, La Union.

Laconsay was securing his safety harness around an electric post when he accidentally touched a live high-tension wire and was electrocuted.

He was taken to a hospital where he was declared dead.
