Las Piñas City Vice Mayor April Aguilar led the Tools and Equipment Awarding ceremony for 25 graduates at the Las Piñas City Manpower Training Center (LPCMTC).
Aguilar said the program is part of the city government’s expanded efforts in uplifting the lives of its citizens by providing them with the means to sustain their livelihood.
The items include welding machines, electric ovens, compressors, and other tools needed for the diverse courses offered by the facility such as automotive servicing, bread and pastry production, electrical installation, and shielded metal arc welding.
"By investing in education and livelihood resources, city officials aim to create a self-sufficient community where every individual has the tools to thrive and contribute to the city’s overall progress." Aguilar said.
