CAVITE – Two persons were injured when a truck rammed a funeral car on its way to the burial site in Dasmariñas City on Thursday, Nov. 21.
A report from the Cavite Police Provincial Office (PPO) said the funeral car, which was pulling a hearse, was traveling along the crossing on Governor's Drive when it was hit by an approaching truck.
Due to the strong impact, the hearse pulled by the funeral car was dragged several meters and collided with a motorcycle.
The rider and back rider of the motorcycle sustained injuries and were immediately brought to the hospital for medical treatment.
Dasmariñas Component City Police Station (CCPS) told the Manila Bulletin that following the incident, the remains carried by the hearse were adequately arranged and have since been laid to rest.
Authorities said the truck owner has settled with the city government of Dasmariñas, which owns the hearse.
